So it detected the virus but couldn't remove them?

When was the last time you updated the definitions? Have you upgraded to
the most recent version of bitdefender? Do you have the settings set to
quarantine or delete the virus or disinfect?
Do you have rootkit scanning on?

Have you contacted bitdefender, they have 24/7 live chat assistance on their
website?
