Subject: RE: WLAN Sniffer - Observer Eval
Hello James,
There is an eval for Observer from www.networkinstruments.com
but be aware that it has a form to fill in first.
http://www.networkinstruments.com/downloads/observer_form.html
and the eval has two 'modes'. Dummy data but no time-outs and
a 'live data' mode with your real data but 200 packets or 1 minute
time-limit. Not really useful if you don't want to purchase the
program but a great way to show the boss that you need it.
It will work with any NDIS supported NIC including 802.11a or b.
Shaun

Can anyone recommend a non-*nix wireless sniffer that I can download an
evaluation of?
There appears to be a good few out there, but I cant manage to find a
downloadable eval.
Thanks
JM
