I doubt you really need to be concerned. If you are getting ISP
disconnections I would check your timeouts and such, and contact your
ISP to see if there are problems with other computers (households, I
am assuming this is a home network) around your area.

Unless you really start seeing a flood of traffic (by flood, I mean a
TON), then there is no real reason to think someone is DoSing you.

I could be wrong, but that's just my gut feeling.
