Similar with software development model at
system/application development methodologies, is it
any network system deployment method/methodologies
that I can use to developing or deploying a network
system?

There is an IDS/IPS system that I have to deploy, but
I got an headache when my boss says that I have to use
network system development/deployment method, before I
was used waterfall model, but he can't accept it
because it was dedicated only for application/software
development model/methodologies.

Any response will greatly appreciated
