Lumension End point security. Encrypts the drives on first use and requires a password or another copy of client to read.

We have chosen to lock USB flash drive access to a majority of the employees. If an employee absolutely needs it, we use 7Zip to encrypt the files on the drive in case the flash drive does get lost.

Subject: USB Flash Drives

Hi Everyone,

I am curious how everyone is protecting their USB Flash Drives from getting lost or stolen? I see a plethora of products out there, but not sure which are the best to go with. All our USB devices need to be encrypted and password protected.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

-Charles
