hi peter & community,

you are right. the "best" case for your problem is that people tend to
use the available bandwith. but not only the users, your browser also
tends to take as much as possible. but enough for that. do you have, for
example, any FTP servers online?

I saw different cases where there have been exploits and the result was
an incredible ammount of traffic due to some file sharing. i also
suggest to have a look via wireshark just to be sure there is no strange
behaviour like excessive uploads from your servers.

I hope that I am wrong in this case and no enemy is on your servers.
