I would contact some of the Anti-Spam Vendors and ask them for White Papers and what their applications can do.
They are usually quite helpful, especially if you are in the market for a solution.
(and often even if you aren't at that point in time)

They should be able to give you a 99.xxx% answer with reasons.
I doubt any reputable Vendor will claim 100% spam identification.
Often they have pretty pictures for managers on the relationship between spam scoring vs false positives etc...
