In that case; following this discussion i've been taking a look at the
available books for this certification, but am a bit confused.

I'm not a security-specialist, but do have interest in this area. I
thought this cert might be a nice starting point. Of course, i first
tried a couple of sample questions and found out that need to study more
in this subject.
