It might be worth getting in touch with Dan Kaminsky (doxpara.com) to
see if you can collaborate. He has done large scale scans of the DNS
to find vulnerabilities and has built tools to help him do this -- in
addition to learning how to deal with the backlash that occurs when
you do such large scale scanning.
