EU law used to beat spammers

A UK resident has won landmark legal case against a spamming
company.

Nigel Roberts used the EU E-Privacy Directive law to win £300
($500) in compensation from Falkirk-based Media Logistics, becoming
the first person in the country to use European legislation to
defeat spammers.
