Well, it helped me with some understanding, so it was worth it to me, anyway.

I use inSSIDer as well - pretty darn useful. However, the other
software you mention is way out of my price range. It would be
interesting to hear what you think of the Ekahau heatmapper.

You're very welcome. If you go back to the Metageek site, there are
some other links to tools, including one to a set of Xirrus tools.
Those might prove worth a look also.
