All,

I am currently in a PhD program focusing on information
security/assurance/whatever the buzzword is for it now. I'd like
to focus the research on malware.. not defending against, not how
to stop, not how bad it is, but the actual development and research
of malware -basically formalizing the black side of infosec. I've
done work in formalizing and automating the vulnerability discovery
and exploitation process, and would like to extend this work into
other areas of malware. Anyone aware of anything out there that is
looking into this topic? Keep in mind, for example, I am
interested only in the offensive aspects..
