Apple today released "APPLE-SA-2007-08-29 Firmware version 7.2.1 for AirPort Extreme 802.11n* base stations."

In short, it resolves a remote vulnerability by disabling a specific routing header. The vulnerability can result in degradation of network bandwidth. As stated by Apple: "This issue does not affect the Gigabit Ethernet version of AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n."

Apple has not posted a public Knowledge Base document yet, but it will be available through the Security Updates page:
