Apple today released iPhone v1.1.2 and iPod Touch v.1.1.2 updates which address multiple buffer overflows with libtiff, used by ImageIO.

Apple notes that this issue does not affect Mac OS X 10.3.9 with Security Update 2006-004, 10.4.7 with Security Update 2006-004 or 10.4.8 and later.

Apple gives credit to Tavis Ormandy of the Google Security Team for reporting this issue.
