On BugTraq, Moritz Jodeit describes in detail a Mac OS X Software Update Remote Command Execution Vulnerability:

This issue appears to be resolved in Security Update APPLE-SA-2007-12-17 which was released via Software Update today for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5. No additional details have been posted on Apple's website yet.
