Job Specification
UK Sales Manager
Company Security Vendor
Location Remote (London office)
Salary £45,000 - £60,000 basic
Package £70,000 based on a target of £1m (with accelerators for
over-achievement). This would bring the OTE to £115,000-£130,000.
Start Date November/December 2003
Responsibilities Acquire and manage end-user accounts (Financial Services,
Telecom, Government, Utilities). Manage, train and actively recruit top
security value added resellers in the UK. Initially report to head of
EMEA.Lead generation and direct creation of sales processes in large
organizations in the financial, manufacturing and potentially government
verticals for fulfilment mainly (although not exclusively) by such channels.
Managing all stages of the sales cycle.Conducts sales programs across Europe
to distributors and resellers.
Previous Experience High Performance Sales Person - 5 Years.With at least 2
years of experience in selling Information Security software products and/or
services.Achieved direct sales quotas of at least $500K per year. Experience
in working and managing information security resellers in the relevant
territory. Have relevant and active contacts in the UK.
Knowledge Domains Pre requisites Deep knowledge of solution selling
methodologies and experience in enterprise software sales. (e.g. IBM sales
training course.)Strong understanding of the Information Security market,
technologies and methodologies.
Additional Qualities Worked in a small-scale start-up company - an
advantage.Strong communications and presentation skillsMasters degree - an
advantage.Available for extensive travellingFluency in English.Team
PlayerMultitasking ability between different accounts.
