Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of technical marketing for enterprise network security products in the Gateway/Network products division. Duties include, but are not limited to: hands-on testing of competitive products in lab, developing competitive analysis for varying audiences including sales, SE and partners, authoring technical white papers, technical notes and technical product requirements, delivering technical product training for sales, SE and partners, and providing ongoing support to field sales during pre-sales phase of large customer engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Requires 2-3 years of hands-on experience with network security products (firewalls, gateways, IDS/IPS products). Familiarity and knowledge of networking and security concepts such as routing, switching, VLANs, blended attacks and threats. Prior experience in technical marketing, product testing/evaluation, and competitive analysis a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills are required. Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Action oriented, creative problem solving, customer centered, interpersonal savvy, perseverance, priority setting, managing vision and purpose, and written communication. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a team player.
