The Certification Manager will be responsible for driving PGP Desktop and Universal products through accredited testing laboratories to obtain certification for products in North America, Europe and Asia. PGP is committed to providing customers with a high level of trust, which requires a thorough, reliable, objective, and globally trusted process. PGP believes that certification of our products will provide reliable, independent verification that Desktop and Universal products conform to protection profiles and recognized security targets.
Responsibilities
? Preliminary assessment of PGP products? conformance with
o NIST X.509 conformance
o FIPS 140-2
o CAC card interoperability standards
o Common Criteria
and other relevant standards in North America, Europe, and Asia
? Identification and articulation of any required product or process enhancements to bring PGP products into conformance with agreed upon standards
? Documentation and project management of a successful project plan that meets the company?s product certification goals
? Development of test plans to demonstrate conformance with the standards above
? Assessment, engagement, and management of independent, internationally recognized and accredited testing labs to execute funded test plans
? Submission of test results and approval of all agreed upon conformance standards
Requirements
? Minimum ten years experience designing, building, and/or testing of software products aimed at large commercial and government markets
? Exceptional project and resource management skills in a software development environment
? Minimum five years experience with testing/approval agencies in the U.S. Federal government
? Demonstrated experience with security or encryption software products with commitment to delivering high levels of security to customers
? Prefer technical or engineering degree(s)
