At least two years of technical experience working in the field of IT Security
? Knowledge of Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, C++, C, ASP.NET, and Java languages
? Data analysis and vulnerability research skills
? Candidate should be able to translate empirical data into action-oriented recommendations
? Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning technologies
? Experience in some or all of the following areas: OS Security (Windows 2000, Linux, Sun), firewalls, IDS, routers & switches
? Excellent listening, verbal and technical writing skills
? Handles up-to-date threat and vulnerability profiles, including respective countermeasures
? Assess vulnerabilities including create prevention/corrective actions and communicate with global IT to ensure prompt and effective distribution of alerts and advisories
? Formalize and maintain the security incident response program including escalation procedures, communication steps, etc.
? Monitor execution of the security incident response process, perform gap analysis, and propose changes to the process to increase overall effectiveness
? Report on security incident response process effectiveness to IT security management
? Assist Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity team with validation, testing and implementation of established plans
? Conduct regular Business Impact Analyses to systematically assess the potential impacts of a loss of business functionality due to an interruption of computing and/or infrastructure services resulting from various events or incidents
? Build a strong working knowledge of the entire organization in order to successfully identify persons involved in the incident response process and those who need to be included in communications around security threats and incidents
? Liaison between IT Security Assurance and developers to ensure all applications adhere to security
