The successful candidate will have 2+ years of network security experience and 1+ year of recent security auditing and penetration testing experience. This position involves performing audit, assessment, and penetration testing services for commercial and government clients.
* Prior and current experience with network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing methods
* Intimate knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networking architectures
* Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems and security
* Experience with commercial and freeware assessment tools such as ISS Internet Scanner, Eeye Retina, Nessus, WebInspect, AppDetective, Metasploit, Kismet, Airmagnet, and hacker tools on both Windows and Linux platforms
* Knowledge of open security testing standards and projects such as OWASP and OSSTMM
* Experience with wireless LAN security (including 802.11 standards)
* Experience with firewall, VPN and intrusion detection systems
DESIRED (But Not Required)
* Programming language experience in C/C++, Java, Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP, .NET
* Knowledge of database, applications, and web server design and implementation
* Familiarity with the certification and accreditation (C&A) security evaluations process for government agencies, such as DITSCAP, NIACAP, and FISMA standards.
This position requires research, preparation, and participation in presentations and briefings, as well as travel to client locations worldwide. A degree in Computer Science is preferred, but is not required. Desired certifications include CISSP, CISA, or SANS GIAC as well as an understanding of IT security standards such as ISO 27001, CoBIT, and ITIL.

The security analyst must be able to qualify for a security clearance to access some government facilities. Candidates with current (within last 3 years) DOD or DOJ Secret or TS/SCI clearance will be given highest priority. Pay is commensurate with experience.
