According to WinGuides.com, you can remove quicklaunch and all other
usability enhancements from the desktop by setting
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\Classic
Shell=1.
This has worked for me in Win2k Adv Server.

Hello all,
I have a Citrix MetaFrame XP server farm. It hosts many applications. I
am trying to secure the desktop/Windows should a user get access to the
actual server via an application crash or something. My question is in
regards to the quick launch bar. I WANT IT COMPLETELY REMOVED.
Any suggestions? I have done necessary regediting and security for file
permissions but I still have the quick launch for my users.
Thanks for the help.
