RE: TS group policy / hide notification area

If you simply want to disable context menus but leave the notification
area alone then open gpedit.msc and browse to this item:
User Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Windows
Components-->Start Menu and Taskbar--> Remove Access to the context
menus for the taskbar
Set this to enabled
If you want to remove the notification area completely (clock will also
go by-by):
User Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> Windows Components
--> Start Menu and Taskbar --> Hide Notification Area
Set this to enabled
