The thumb drive I use is an old Transcend 128meg which has a physical
write lock switch. One of the reasons I still use that 128meg is because
I can't find a current one that has that feature. I did get a suggestion
from a friend to perhaps use an SD card (which have lock switches) in a
small cardreader. It's not as good or likely as durable as a real thumb
drive but might be useful for shared use with cameras and pda use.

If anyone knows a good thumb drive with those physical lock switches
(NOT the software based ones) I would like to know!
