Answer this other question:
Do you have any virus-prone systems connected to your Linux box? Say, a gaming
PC, a laptop, your kid's PC.... or business clients connected to a Linux
samba server?
If the answer is yes, then an antivirus running on your Linux box will help
all those other virus-prone systems.
FYI: ClamAV is an antivirus solution to remove MS-Windows virii
