IMLib/IMLib2 Multiple BMP Image Decoding Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities
Multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities are reported to reside in the Iimlib/Imlib2 libraries. These issues may be triggered when handling malformed bitmap images. A remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to cause a denial of service in applications that use the vulnerable library to render images. Reportedly, attackers may also exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code. |
