LibTIFF Multiple Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities
LibTIFF is affected by multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because the software fails to properly perform boundary checks before copying user-supplied strings into finite process buffers. An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable computer with the privileges of the user running a vulnerable application, facilitating unauthorized access. The attacker may also leverage these issues to crash the affected application. |
