Gaim MSN SLP Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Gaim is reportedly affected by a remote buffer overflow vulnerability in its MSN SLP message functionality of gaim. This issue is due to a failure of the application to verify buffer bounds when copying user-supplied input. An attacker can leverage this issue to execute arbitrary code on an affected computer with the privileges of the user that executed the vulnerable application. |
