The Linux kernel is reported prone to an unspecified local denial of service vulnerability. It is reported that issue exists locally and is exploitable through direct I/O access to NFS file systems. Successful exploitation will lead to a kernel panic on a computer with NFS mounts. This would effectively deny service to legitimate users. |
