FreeBSD SSH Port Extra Network Port Listening Vulnerability
Solution: Altering the /etc/sshd_config file, removing the line that reads: Port 722 will prevent sshd from listening on that port. Adding firewall rules to block port 722, or removing the package outright will also eliminate this problem. New versions of the ssh port are available at http:// www.freebsd.org/ports |
