Sun Solaris Traceroute Multiple Local Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities
An exploit is available for the buffer overflow vulnerability. The following proof of concept examples are available: /usr/sbin/traceroute -g 1 -g 2 -g 3 -g 4 -g 5 -g 6 -g 7 -g 8 -g 9 -g 10 127.0.0.1 traceroute -s 1.1.1.1. 127.0.0.1 Currently we are not aware of any exploits for the heap overflow issue.
