Kismet Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities

Kismet is prone to three remote vulnerabilities. An attacker could exploit these issues to completely compromise a computer running Kismet to sniff wireless network traffic.

- An integer-underflow vulnerability occurs in the handling of pcap files. An attacker could exploit this to cause heap corruption when replaying a pcap file.

- An unspecified error occurs in the handling of non-printable characters in SSID.

- An integer-underflow vulnerability occurs in the data frame dissection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt the heap and possibly permit the execution of arbitrary code.
