Libpng Graphics Library PNG_Set_Strip_Alpha Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Libpng is reported prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability. The library fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied input before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability to execute attacker-supplied code in the context of an application that relies on the affected library. |
