IBM AIX is prone to a local buffer-overflow vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with superuser privileges. A successful exploit would lead to a complete compromise of affected computers. AIX versions 5.2 and 5.3 are vulnerable to this issue. |
