Linux Kernel SysFS_ReadDir NULL Pointer Dereference Vulnerability
The Linux kernel is prone to a NULL-pointer dereference vulnerability. A local attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected kernel, denying service to legitimate users. UPDATE (June 26, 2007): Given the nature of this issue, remote code execution may also be possible but has not been confirmed. |
