CISCO IOS NHRP Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Cisco IOS is prone to a remote buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected component. Attackers could also restart the device, resulting in denial-of-service conditions. Cisco IOS 12.0 through 12.4 are vulnerable. |
