ISC BIND 8 Remote Cache Poisoning Vulnerability
BIND 8 is prone to a remote cache-poisoning vulnerability because of weaknesses in its random-number generator. An attacker may leverage this issue to manipulate cache data, potentially facilitating man-in-the-middle, site-impersonation, or denial-of-service attacks. Versions of BIND from 8.2.0 through to 8.4.7 are vulnerable to this issue. |
