Microsoft Windows Kodak Image Viewer Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Microsoft Windows Kodak Image Viewer is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability because it fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied data. Remote attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary machine code in the context of a user running the application. Successful exploits will compromise the user's account and possibly the underlying computer. Failed attacks will likely cause denial-of-service conditions. NOTE: Affected versions of Windows XP are vulnerable only if they have been upgraded from Windows 2000. |
