COWON America jetAudio M3U File Processing Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
jetAudio is prone to a remote buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it to an insufficiently sized buffer while processing M3U files. Exploiting this issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary machine code in the context of users running the affected application. jetAudio 7.0.3 and jetAudio Plus 7.1.9.4030 are reported as vulnerable; prior versions may also be affected. |
