Linux Kernel Prior to 2.6.24.1 'copy_from_user_mmap_sem()' Memory Access Vulnerability
The Linux kernel is prone to a memory-access vulnerability because it fails to adequately validate a user-supplied pointer value. A local attacker can exploit this issue to read arbitrary memory locations on the affected computer. This issue affects Linux Kernel 2.6.22 through 2.6.24. |
