DynFX MailServer POP3d Denial of Service Vulnerability
DynFX MailServer, from DynFX Internet Services, provides POP3 and SMTP services under WinNT/2000. DynFX's POPd is vulnerable to buffer overflows of the logon function. If a remote attacker attempts to connect by supplying an unusually long username, the pop3 service will terminate, requiring a restart. |
