FreeType2 Printer Font Binary Private Dictionary Table Integer Overflow Vulnerability
FreeType2 is prone to an integer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate checks on user-supplied data. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of applications using the FreeType2 library. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition. NOTE: This issue can allow a local attacker using X.Org Xserver to gain elevated privileges on the affected computer. FreeType2 2.3.5 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected. |
