Linux Kernel 'pppol2tp_recvmsg()' Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability
The Linux Kernel is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected computer on the local network, denying service to legitimate users. Given the nature of this issue, code execution may be possible, but this has not been confirmed. Versions prior to Linux Kernel 2.6.26-rc6 are vulnerable. |
