vWebServer Long URL Denial of Service Vulnerability
vWebServer is a freeware ASP webserver. A problem with the webserver makes it possible to deny service to legitmate users. By repeatedly submitting URLs to the webserver containing very long strings of arbitrary text, the webserver can be made to stop responding. A restart is required to restore web service. |
