The 'vsftpd' FTP server is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability when used with Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM). Successfully exploiting this issue allows remote attackers to crash the affected application, denying service to legitimate users. Versions prior to vsftpd 2.0.5 are affected. |
