Linux Kernel 'iov_iter_advance()' Page Fault Local Denial of Service Vulnerability
The Linux kernel is prone to a local denial-of-service vulnerability caused by an error in the 'iov_iter_advance()' function. Attackers can exploit this issue to cause the kernel to crash, denying service to legitimate users. This issue occurs in the Linux 2.6 kernel prior to version 2.6.27-rc2. |
