Linux Kernel 'lbs_process_bss()' Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability
The Linux Kernel is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because of a buffer-overflow error in the 'libertas' subsystem. Successful exploits will allow attackers to crash the affected computer, denying service to legitimate users. Given the nature of this issue, attackers may also be able to execute code, but this has not been confirmed. Versions prior to Linux Kernel 2.6.27.5 are vulnerable. |
