MailScanner is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because it fails to properly handle user-supplied input. Attackers may exploit this issue to force the application into an infinite loop, causing it to consume large amounts of system resources and to hang. This can result in denial-of-service conditions. Versions prior to MailScanner 4.73.3-1 are vulnerable. |
