Linux Kernel 'ib700wdt.c' Buffer Underflow Vulnerability
The Linux kernel is prone to a buffer-underflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. A local attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with kernel-level privileges or crash the affected computer, denying service to legitimate users. Versions prior to Linux kernel 2.6.28-rc1 are vulnerable. |
