Sun Solaris Cassini Gigabit-Ethernet Device Driver Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability
Sun Solaris is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because of an error in the Cassini Gigabit-Ethernet device driver ('ce(7D)'). Exploiting this issue allows attackers to panic the vulnerable system, effectively denying service to legitimate users. These issues affect Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris snv_01 through snv_82, and snv_111 through snv_117. |
