IRIX XFS Filesystem Local Denial of Service Attack
A vulnerability has been reported in some versions of the XFS filesystem. XFS is the default filesystem for all IRIX 6.5 systems. A local user may be able to create a malicious file. Any process which then attempts to access this file will hang. Under some circumstances, this may result in a denial of service condition. |
